Tactics

Learn to "shoot from the hip". You glimpse a movement, you swing cross hairs toward the movement, you acquire the target

and you eliminate the target. This all occurs within the same second.

You must acquire your target as you are moving to gain a shooting solution

Learn the different sounds of each weapon. Each weapon has strength and a weakness, if you can identify

the weapon by sound, you gain an advantage by knowing its weakness.

Learn the sounds at different distances. With enough practice, you can identify a sound, the type of weapon,

the direction it came from, and about how far away it is from your position.

Always swim with the KNIFE active. All projectile weapons are useless underwater. All explosive

weapons are worthless underwater. The one exception is the Claymore.

DO NOT SWIM ON THE SURFACE. You can be terminated on the surface by projectile

weapons. Swim at the bottom. You tend to blend in to the river floor.

ensure the "one shot one kill" rule by shooting only at still targets

Wait for enemies to stabilize their movement and then begin sniping them

once in sniping position never move an inch more then necessary

staying as still as possible to avoid detection

Snipers only real defense in close combat is his sidearm

needless to say snipers should avoid close combat at all costs

when looking for other snipers watch for Motion and Discolored terrain

Often its hard for people to tell if they blend in with their surroundings

Use this to your advantage
